Happy Pi Day! Pi is easily one of the most recognizable numbers of all time, even if math is not your strongest subject. For the uninitiated, Pi is the numeric representation of the ratio of a circle\u2019s circumference to its radius (Blatner, 1997). It\u2019s not all about the numbers though. March 14th<\/sup> is a day to celebrate all things Pi; whether you are a mathematician, a baker, or just someone who loves puns, Pi Day has something to offer everyone. Why not try a new coding language<\/a>, enjoy a great British sketch show<\/a>, or learn about one of the largest species of snake<\/a>? Here at the library, we have materials that can help you understand the mathematical significance of this symbol (a Greek letter \u201c\u03c0\u201d), take your baking skills to the next level, improve your computer skills, and more! Below are a few offerings that should keep you busy this Pi Day.<\/p>\n
