Preparing\u00a0for the world as it\u2019s going to be\u2026From\u00a0the freshman and senior Life Skills Seminars, to the 4-year Action Plan\u00a0developed by the Career and Internship Services Office, to experiential learning\u00a0opportunities implemented by stellar faculty, HPU is focused on preparing students as President Qubein puts it, \u201cto be job creators, not job takers.\u201d<\/p>\n

To\u00a0keep students in an \u201centrepreneurial zone\u201d HPU even leverages social media to\u00a0highlight the opportunities they have to craft their own personal brand.\u00a0Take Career Tip Tuesday Infographics as one small example: \"\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Each\u00a0week the Career and Internship Office provides a relevant infographic to\u00a0underscore the importance of building career connections. The impact, of course,\u00a0is not in this single message, but in the consistent delivery of the\u00a0content.<\/p>\n

Whether in person at a career counseling session, in the\u00a0classroom where faculty invite Career Counselors to engage with students,\u00a0or even on Twitter and other social media platforms where students spend much\u00a0of their time, HPU is connecting academics with career-based outcomes.<\/p>\n

The message is simple\u00a0and constant: \u00a0here are the tools, the support, and the advocacy of faculty and staff to help you succeed.<\/p>\n
