Each month we bring you this Parent Perspective Newsletter for two simple reasons: to inform and inspire.<\/p>\n

Inform<\/b> \u2013 There are hundreds of services, programs, and resources available to your student \u2013 all contributing to successful outcomes (see the story below from Career and Internship Services with the 6 Tips to Maximize Your Student’s Internship Experience<\/span><\/a>).\u00a0 Each month we\u2019ll provide relevant content and insights from our talented HPU faculty and staff.\u00a0 As your partner, we understand that students who are surrounded by an informed support network are poised to thrive.<\/p>\n

Inspire<\/b> \u2013 President Qubein has said, \u201cIf you want to be great, walk hand in hand with great people.\u201d At High Point University, our culture is built on values – the value of generosity, service, hard-work, gratitude, and more.\u00a0 Here students are surrounded by inspiring men and women \u2013 faculty, staff, and fellow classmates.\u00a0 So each month, we highlight the wonderful work of the HPU family (see the story below about how an English class changed one student’s perspective about\u00a0community service<\/span><\/a>).<\/p>\n

We enthusiastically celebrate the academic accomplishments, thoughtful contributions, and acts of kindness that our faculty, staff, and students create every day \u2013 it\u2019s part of what makes High Point University so special.<\/p>\n
