At the same time, I want you to know that High Point University loves and can\u2019t wait to see your student!<\/p>\n<p>We are committed to supporting their success year-round, and already we\u2019re gearing up for the fall semester.<\/p>\n<p>I want to remind you of some incredible resources HPU provides to help students throughout their journey \u2013 resources that can support your student when they join us this fall.<\/p>\n<p>HPU has a supportive team in place to assist freshmen in their transition to college.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Here\u2019s a glimpse of just a few HPU resources available to support your student:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/learningexcellence\">Learning Excellence<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Learning Excellence is a comprehensive academic support program. The fee-based program is beneficial for any student who may need help with organization, time management, study skills, or strategies to help with learning differences. This impactful program of individualized support develops a learning action plan specific to your student.<\/p>\n<p>HPU RISE \u2013 Did you know there\u2019s an app that will help your student navigate the opportunities on campus and track their progress? Encourage them to download HPU\u2019s Rise App today\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/is\/app\/rise-by-fund-five\/id1431015445\">in the Apple Store<\/a>\u00a0or on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.fundfive.rise\">Google Play.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The HPU Rise app will help your student methodically navigate through the extraordinary opportunities to develop life skills and take advantage of the unique ecosystem of support that HPU provides. This includes career and internship development opportunities for upperclassmen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/global\/\">Global Education<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 We are excited to continue offering students safe and exciting opportunities for international study as the world returns to travel. The opportunities offered through our Norelli Office of Global Education are plentiful and impactful. If your student is interested in future study abroad opportunities, encourage them to visit the office or contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:studyabroad@highpoint.edu\">studyabroad@highpoint.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/academicservices\/tutoring\/\">Academic Services<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 The Academic Services team provides many complimentary benefits to your student, including tutoring and writing workshops. If your student finds they can improve their grades, papers or other assignments by utilizing these services, encourage them to view the options led by our caring team. We have seen many students improve their knowledge, understanding of complex topics and abilities by working with Academic Services!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/successcoach\/\">Success Coaches<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/academicadvising\/\">Academic Advisors<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Your student\u2019s academic advisor is here to assist them in crafting a class schedule and path to achieve their future goals! And our Success Coaches assist freshman in the transition to college. Success Coaches also collaborate with upperclassmen on programming and mentorship opportunities that welcome freshmen to campus and can offer your student the opportunity to serve as a mentor and a leader on these projects as we work to welcome new students to our family.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/concierge\/\">Campus Concierge<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 The Campus Concierge remains committed to providing your student with excellent customer service and serving as a central location for campus information. Campus Concierge locations in the Slane Student Center, R.G. Wanek Center and Cottrell Hall provide quick access for your student to receive assistance across campus. Both you and your student can email\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:concierge@highpoint.edu\">concierge@highpoint.edu<\/a>\u00a0or call 336-841-4636 with questions as well.
