Dear Parents:<\/p>\n

Entrepreneurs<\/a>,\u00a0intrapreneurs<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0solopreneurs<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 oh my!<\/p>\n

HPU is focused on preparing students, as President Qubein puts it, \u201cto be job creators, not job takers.\u201d This mission has never been more timely than today as our world is constantly changing.<\/p>\n

Our passion to prepare students for the world as it is going to be includes a constant reminder to students that excellence is defined by relevance. And relevance only exists where value is created.\u00a0A quick look at any of the \u201cpreneur\u201d links above highlights the importance of HPU\u2019s holistic education model.<\/p>\n

From Dr. Qubein\u2019s Freshman Life Skills Seminars, to the\u00a04-year Action Plan developed by the Office of Career and Professional Development<\/a>, to experiential learning opportunities implemented by stellar faculty, living in an \u201centrepreneurial zone\u201d is critical for anyone to lead a life of success and significance in today\u2019s rapidly changing economy.<\/p>\n

The stories featured in this month\u2019s Parent Perspective showcase entrepreneurship, continued growth and a strong belief in values\u2026 many of the qualities you\u2019ll also find in successful innovators and thoughtful leaders who collectively move the world forward.<\/p>\n
