Commencement speaker Glenn Stearns, an internationally known businessman and star of Discovery Channel\u2019s \u201cUndercover Billionaire\u201d reality show, encouraged graduates to embrace life\u2019s chances.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/commencement\/2024-commencement\/\">See highlights from their speeches and the weekend here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>As our graduates begin\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/category\/outcomes\">careers and enter graduate programs<\/a>, HPU undergraduates begin\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/associated-site\/internships\/\">internships<\/a>, undergraduate research, and other experiential learning opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Class of 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Class of 2024 leaves their campus eager to make the world a better place. You\u2019ll appreciate merely a few\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/category\/outcomes\">examples of our graduates<\/a>\u00a0entering esteemed graduate school programs or beginning employment with impressive organizations. These graduates, like so many of their peers, are establishing their own pathways toward a life of both success and significance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Current Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Internships are an essential career-building experience for HPU students. Each year, our students commence summer internships at companies including Target, Wasserman, PayPal, Coca-Cola Consolidated, Labcorp and many more.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Class of 2028<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In August, we anticipate welcoming our largest freshman class yet, full of energy and talent, as they are eager to experience our values-based learning environment. As summer arrives, many high school juniors and seniors begin to visit colleges. Please encourage your friends and family members who are seeking a transformational college experience to visit High Point University.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/admissions\/visits\/\">Campus visits may be scheduled here<\/a>.
