Qubein"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Parent,<\/p>\n<p>This month, we welcomed thousands of families to campus for Spring Family Weekend, as well several thousand future families for Presidential Scholarship Weekends. We are very blessed and thankful.<\/p>\n<p>Because we value your feedback, we invited parents who attended to take a Family Weekend survey. We received overwhelmingly positive responses, as well as many messages of thanks for the life skills and values HPU instills in students. I am not surprised, but I am delighted to see how much our families appreciate HPU\u2019s distinct approach to education.<\/p>\n<div class=\"flex max-w-full flex-col flex-grow\">\n<div class=\"min-h-8 text-message flex w-full flex-col items-end gap-2 whitespace-normal break-words text-start [.text-message+&amp;]:mt-5\" dir=\"auto\" data-message-author-role=\"assistant\" data-message-id=\"5ecf593f-229d-4bbf-a38d-5bbdb6a0d3e9\" data-message-model-slug=\"gpt-4o\">\n<div class=\"flex w-full flex-col gap-1 empty:hidden first:pt-[3px]\">\n<div class=\"markdown prose w-full break-words dark:prose-invert dark\">\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"744\" data-is-last-node=\"\">You\u2019ll appreciate that this month\u2019s Parent Perspective showcases HPU\u2019s commitment to academic innovation and experiential learning through remarkable student achievements and impactful community initiatives. Several global leaders who are part of our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/accesstoinnovators\">Access to Innovator<\/a>s program visited our campus in recent weeks to mentor students, including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/2026\/02\/apple-co-founder-steve-wozniak-encourages-hpu-students-to-pursue-innovative-ideas\/\">Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/2026\/02\/former-google-executive-discusses-ways-to-thrive-during-an-ai-era-with-students\/\">Former Google Executive Teena Piccione<\/a>. Both addressed important topics such as AI and the importance of life skills.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"744\" data-is-last-node=\"\">HPU&#8217;s hands-on educational opportunities are thriving. Our faculty recently expanded the capabilities of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/2026\/02\/hpus-beacon-lab-expands-biometric-research\/\">BEACON<\/a> (Biometric Evaluation, Analytics, Cognitive Observation and Neuromarketing) Laboratory with new hardware and software to enhance biometric research. This is one example of many impressive labs on campus. And Our Office of Career and Professional Development continues offering students several workshops each week. They also hosted 100 national, regional and local employers during HPU&#8217;s annual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/2026\/02\/hpu-students-make-career-connections-with-employers-at-life-skills-career-summit\/\">Life Skills Career Summit<\/a> in our Conference Center this month.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"744\" data-is-last-node=\"\">You\u2019ll also love reading about our dedicated students co-hosting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/blog\/2026\/02\/hpu-students-spread-love-co-host-special-populations-valentines-day-dance\/\">Valentine\u2019s Dance<\/a> for people with disabilities. They host these dances at Halloween and Christmas, too. These students and the connections they forge with the community are truly remarkable.<\/p>\n<p>As enrollment continues to grow, so do HPU\u2019s academic programs. HPU\u2019s faculty are not only experts in their disciplines, they\u2019re also caring coaches and mentors focused on connecting meaningful experiences to classroom content to create well-rounded individuals ready to take on the world as it is going to be.
