Students are responsible for all living costs and should be aware that some clinical rotations occur outside the immediate High Point region (within two hours) and therefore the student may choose to seek &#8220;short-term&#8221; housing opportunities in other areas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/physicaltherapy\/files\/2023\/08\/2025-DPT-Student-Financial-Fact-Sheet.pdf\">2025 DPT Student Financial Fact Sheet<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<h3>Student Health Insurance<\/h3>\n<p>Student Health Insurance is required of all health profession students and is provided\u00a0according to the schedule below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The university-offered medical insurance policy is effective from August 1st through July 31st. This annual policy will be billed in part on the Fall tuition statement and the rest on the Spring tuition statement.<\/li>\n<li>Programs that begin in the summer are charged per month until August 1st at which time the students are switched to the annual policy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students may waive the university-provided medical insurance with proof of other comparable insurance prior to the start of the academic year. Student Medical Insurance rates are reviewed annually and rates are subject to change.
