The donor may be an individual, corporation, or other non-profit organization.\u00a0 \u00a0Gifts are handled by the Office of Institutional Advancement.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Grant<\/strong>:<\/h3>\n<p>Support provided by an external source in the form of money, services, or property in exchange for a set of specific scope of work and\/or deliverables during a set period of time. Typically these projects require some kind of financial, technical, or progress reporting and are usually provided in the form of an agreement or award letter.\u00a0 This definition includes grants, contracts, subcontracts, subawards, etc. \u00a0Funding from a governmental source is never a gift.\u00a0 Grants are handled by RASP.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Do you have questions?
