The planning committee invites proposals and participation from all areas of your campus community. This includes academic programs, general education, student affairs and services. Please consider sharing your campus assessment activity at this year\u2019s conference during one or both of the following opportunities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Pre-Conference workshops (June 12<\/strong>): Two workshops, one morning and one afternoon, are offered for those who wish to receive in-depth learning, and each is typically three hours in length.\u00a0 A key component of these sessions is the delivery of clearly-designed outcomes for participants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Concurrent Sessions (June 13):<\/strong> An opportunity to share successes and learning at your campus, good assessment practice, or explore a \u201chot topic\u201d in assessment. Sessions are 40-45 minutes in length.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Proposal Format (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.highpoint.edu\/researchandplanning\/files\/2018\/01\/Template-Workshop-and-Presentation-Proposal-NCICU-Assessment-Conference-2018.docx\">Click here for template<\/a>)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Session Type: Pre-conference or Concurrent Session<\/li>\n<li>Name, Title, Institution for each presenter<\/li>\n<li>Title of the Session<\/li>\n<li>Abstract (100 or fewer words) for the session<\/li>\n<li>Description of the Session<\/li>\n<li>Session Objectives<\/li>\n<li>Intended Audiences: beginner, intermediate, advanced; faculty, staff, administrators<\/li>\n<li>For pre-conference workshops: please describe the presenters\u2019 experience in assessment and presentation skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please submit proposals via email using the attached template to Rebecca Leggett (<strong>leggett@ncicu.org<\/strong>) by or before <strong>Monday, March 26, 2018<\/strong>.\u00a0 Successful submissions will be notified in mid-April when registration opens.\u00a0 Need more information?
