Starting in May 2023 High Point University will have Graduate Housing options. These options will be able to cater to the needs of our graduate students and provide the opportunity to live amongst your peers. The graduate housing will be offered exclusively to any full-time graduate students. There will be two options for our students to select. Graduate students will need to pay the Housing deposit of $750 in order to be eligible for either option.

Traditional Housing: Academic Year Option
HPU is offering 3 locations for traditional housing for graduates. The 4th Floor of York Hall, University Owned Houses, and a portion of the New Panther Commons. All units will be single rooms either suites or studios. This option provides graduate students with the ability to be in close proximity to campus facilities, libraries, and classrooms. All units will be open during our traditional academic schedule, from mid-August through the first of May. Students will submit applications on our Housing Portal and placements and availability are subject to our discretion. Pricing for these units will be Tier 2 (York & Established University Owned Houses), Tier 4, or Tier 6 (Panther Commons).

Graduate students can start completing the Housing application on February 15th, highpoint.edu/myhome. Students who complete their application by April 1st will have first priority on Graduate Housing.
For all others, housing will be first-come-first-serve. We will reserve the right to place all CBL students who want Graduate housing first, as those students have an on-campus housing requirement to receive free tuition.
All Graduate students will need to complete the Graduate Housing Application to receive housing. Graduate students will not be eligible for the returning undergraduate housing process and not be eligible to live in undergraduate locations. Homesteading will also not be available.
