In order to reserve a room for the 2023-2024 academic year, current students must pay a $750.00 housing deposit. This must be paid on or before February 15, 2023 in order to use our online housing system. First Year students are not required to pay the $750.00 housing deposit in order to use our online housing system, but must pay the $500.00 enrollment fee instead. Please be aware that paying the housing deposit does not guarantee a housing space on High Point University’s Campus.

Please note: Students cannot use their financial aid refund to pay their housing deposit.  Students must sign up for direct deposit, receive the refund, then use these funds to pay the 2023 Fall Housing Deposit through the housing deposit portal (as an ACH).

Make a Housing Deposit:

Housing Deposit Payment for Students

Housing Deposit Payment for Parents

Please Note For Students: Select “Housing Deposit Payment”

Please keep a few things in mind:

1. The housing deposit is not an extra fee – it will be applied to tuition for the Fall 2023 semester. (You can request a refund of this deposit through May 31, 2023. Refunds will begin being issued after June 1, 2023).

2. The housing deposit needs to be paid separately from any tuition payments using the Housing Deposit Portal. Due to the overwhelming demand to attend High Point University, all campus housing will be completely full again this year and registration slots for classes will be at a premium. In order to fairly accommodate all students, your housing and course registration cannot be assured if your bill is not paid in full by the tuition payment deadline.

3. Any student that is not registered for classes for the 2023 Fall semester by the end of April, may be removed from housing, and will be assigned to what rooms are available after they have registered for classes.

4. Any student that has an outstanding balance on their account on the first due date of fall bills may be removed from housing. A student will be assigned to what rooms are available after their account is cleared.

5. This deposit does not apply to any student that will be commuting.

6. Any student that is academically ineligible at the end of the Spring 2023 will be removed from housing and classes if they are not registered for Summer Session 1 or Summer Session 2 by June 15th by 5pm EST.

7. If a student is opting to live off campus, please know that we require all of our students to reside on campus until they have reached senior status in completed credit hours, or commute from their parent’s permanent address. Any student considering living off campus, must complete the Off Campus Contract located on the Housing Portal.
