Refunding Excess Financial Aid or Overpayments<\/h2>\n

Students expecting to receive a refund due to financial aid or an overpayment on their student account, are able to have your funds deposited directly into their personal <\/em><\/strong>bank account by enrolling in Direct Deposit in advance of the refund being issued.\u00a0 Enrollment is completed within our Student Account Center portal through TouchNet; the same portal that provides online statements, processes online payments and manages monthly payment plans.<\/p>\n

This is a safe, secure way to receive your student refunds quickly and directly into your bank account \u2013 no need to bring a check to your bank to deposit or have to wait for the funds to be available.\u00a0 You have two refund options: direct deposit or paper check. If you choose to have the funds directly deposited into your personal bank account, your funds will be available within 48-72 hours after the refund is processed depending on your bank. If you do not enroll in the direct deposit option, a check will be mailed to your address on file. This process will take approximately 7 \u2013 10 business days after your refund is approved and processed.<\/p>\n

***Please note that if your financial aid refund is caused by a Federal Parent Plus Loan, direct deposit may not be available for these funds. \u00a0A check may be mailed to the borrower’s information listed on the Parent PLUS Loan application.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
