If a student is opting to live off-campus, please know that we require all of our students to reside on campus until they have reached senior status in completed credit hours (96 credit hours), or commuting from their parent’s permanent address. The parent’s permanent address for a commuting student must be a North Carolina address or within 50 miles of High Point University. Students living off-campus or commuting will need to complete the Office Campus Contract through the housing portal at www.highpoint.edu/myhome under “Contracts and Forms”.
*Please note your off-campus address must be more than (1) a mile radius from the University. In addition, a requirement of this contract is that you keep the Office of Student Life informed as to your current off-campus address and telephone number. Any changes should be reported to us immediately.
