2022 Summer Advantage Resident Life Checklist

-Dates for Summer Advantage:  Summer Advantage 2022 begins on Monday, June 27 and runs through Friday, July 22, with Move-In on June 26.  Students will be finished with their last exam by 11:00 am on Friday, July 22.  Please plan your travel accordingly.

Move-in day details:

MOVE-IN FOR SUMMER ADVANTAGE 2022

Move-In for Summer Advantage will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Caffey Hall on the campus of High Point University.

Move-In will begin at 9:00 am, but your Move-In “window” might be different according to the floor you will be residing on in Caffey Hall. Your specific time for Move-In will be provided to you once your statement is paid and your housing assignment is made.

Please enter the campus using the Panther Drive entrance, located off of Lexington Avenue:

  • Continue along Panther Drive and continue along until you reach the Wanek Center.
  • Turn right BEFORE YOU PASS THE WANEK CENTER
  • As you pass Caffey Hall on your right, turn right at the cones and continue to the other side of the Caffey building, turning right into the entranceway
  • Look for our excited group of Move-In volunteers ready to assist you!
  • We’ll have folks along the way to guide you, as well
  • If you get lost or get confused, that’s ok. Just ask the guard at the kiosk where to go, or any staff member you see on campus.

Please follow the instructions provided to you pertaining to Move-In, including your designated time of arrival.

The SA2022 Student and Parent Orientation Session will begin thereafter- this concludes the parent portion of Summer Advantage move-in.

-Financial investment for Summer Advantage: The investment for Summer Advantage is $9,500.  This includes tuition, room, board, and university sponsored activities (as indicated on the activities calendar).  This excludes books and personal items.  The comprehensive fee also includes the NC Dining Plan State Sales Tax.

-Student Accounts Contact Information: 336-841-9259.  This office can assist you with the deposit and full payment for Summer Advantage. Their website is https://www.highpoint.edu/studentaccounts/.

Move-In Day airport shuttles will be running on the following schedule:

Sunday, June 26th Arrival
GSO: 8am, 9am, 10am, 11am, noon
RDU/CLT: 7am, 10am
