All three programs include housing, meals, and a monetary stipend.\u00a0 Programs run for 8 weeks in concordance with\u00a0 summer classes.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\"SuRI<\/p>\n

\n

The Summer Research Institute (SuRI) – Since 2013. <\/b><\/span>SuRI is open to undergraduates in all disciplines. Students are required to identify a faculty mentor (who is not part of SuRPS or SuRF) who has agreed to work with them during the summer research period and describe the project goal, method, and timeline.\u00a0 The program runs June and July. Your dates and hours will be negotiated with your mentor but there is a program minimum.\u00a0 To participate in this program, students must be committed to attend a mandatory<\/strong> weekly meeting on Thursdays 3:30-4:30 pm and a movie night each Tuesday. The application deadline is listed below.<\/p>\n

\"SuRPS<\/p>\n

\n

The Summer Research Program in the Sciences (SuRPS) – Since 2015. <\/b><\/span> SuRPS is a competitive program for research\u00a0 positions to work with faculty in biology, chemistry, or physics, on predetermined projects. Students should preview the specific project opportunities available this year\u00a0 and\u00a0 indicate on the application the top three projects they would like to work on.\u00a0 Students are expected to work approximately 40 hours per week and participate in this program as their sole endeavor during this time frame. Students should not have additional employment. Click here <\/strong>to see work from other summers!<\/p>\n

The Congdon School of Health Sciences (CSHS) \u2013 Summer Research Fellowship (SuRF) – since 2016. <\/b><\/span>SuRF is a competitive program for research positions on predetermined projects with faculty in the Health Sciences. Further information on the SuRF program is (available here)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Students who have interest in this program should:<\/p>\n

1. Review student eligibility criteria (available here<\/a>)
\n2. Review faculty projects on the Congdon School of Health Sciences website (HERE<\/strong><\/a>)
\n3. Email faculty mentors of projects you are interested in (to schedule meetings to discuss your role on project)
\n4. Complete the online application below at the bottom of the page.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
