HPU Registrar Welcomes Bates as Office Administrator

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 10, 2013 – The Office of the Registrar at High Point University recently hired Cara Bates as office administrator.

Bates is responsible for assisting students with the registration process, preparing transcripts, filing and maintaining student records, and providing assistance to students in the Office of the Registrar.

“HPU has a warm and welcoming staff as well as a lovely campus,” says Bates. “I am happy to be working with smart and talented individuals.”

Bates also notes she wants HPU students to feel welcome in her office anytime.

“I want students to feel welcome when they step into my office; I am ready and willing to answer any questions that they have,” she says.

Bates received a Bachelor of Science in mass communications with a focus in creative advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University.
