Recommendation
If you got an A or A- in your class, ask your professor to fill out the recommendation form in the Admin portal or email Dr. Curty at [email protected] to recommend you to be a tutor.
Meet with Dr. Curty
Dr. Curty is the head of tutoring and will be your boss as a tutor. This is like an informal interview where he just wants to get to know you and answer any questions you may have about tutoring.
Student Employment
You will need to go to the Student Employee office in Couch – Suite #136 to give them your identification. You will need a photo ID (HPU passport is fine) and either your birth certificate or social security card. Copies/pictures will not work!
Watch the Introduction Module
Once you get the all clear from student employment, you will have access to the tutor portal on the front page of the tutoring page. Log in with your HPU credentials, go to level one training, and watch the welcome video to get started. Once you follow all of those steps, you’re ready to start tutoring!
