HPU Welcomes Miner to Office of Student Life

Jessica MinerHIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 22, 2013 – The Office of Student Life at High Point University recently hired Jessica Miner as coordinator of residential services.

Miner is responsible for overseeing the Centennial Square housing community on campus and providing support for students after hours.

Miner says she looks forward to reaching out to students on campus over the course of their time at HPU.

“Within the Office of Student Life, we have so many opportunities to interact directly with students and impact their lives on a daily basis,” Miner says. “We strive to make sure they feel at home here.”

Miner received a Bachelor of Science in sociology and a Master of Science in counseling from East Carolina University. She graduated magna cum laude from ECU and received the Outstanding Senior Award from the sociology department.
