Class of 2015 Outcomes: Patrick Citron Analyzes at Ipreo

With another successful commencement behind us, recent High Point University graduates are preparing to commence prestigious career paths around the world at Fortune 500 companies, international service programs, public school systems, top-tier law, medical and graduate school programs, and many other esteemed organizations thanks to their journey at HPU. Here’s a glimpse of one extraordinary senior from the Class of 2015:

Name: Patrick Citron

Hometown: Holly Springs, North Carolina

Major: Citron graduated with a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration, with a minor in Finance, on May 9.

Post-graduation plans: Citron accepted a position as a GMI Analyst for Ipreo in Raleigh, North Carolina.

How HPU helped you get there: “High Point helped me secure a position before graduation by their relentless drive to develop students not only academically but personally as well. The personal growth I’ve had at high Point has been more than I could have ever imagined. Through their extra curricular activities I have been fortunate enough to hold two internships and multiple leadership positions on campus. That has helped me receive multiple job offers and given me the tools I need to prosper far beyond my years at a High Point.”

Most impactful mentor at HPU: “While there have been so many people that has impacted me during my time at High Point, Dr. David Bergen has shaped my path at HPU to make me a more well-rounded and compassionate person. During my summer experience session he inspired me to bring enthusiasm to whatever endeavor I choose to pursue. I have carried that spirit over the past 4 years at High Point.”

Most impactful moment at HPU: “My most impactful moment at HPU hands down was the decision to go Greek. Through being a brother at Pi Kappa Phi I have had the opportunity to become a leader and grow personally through various positions I’ve held inside the fraternity and Greek community.”

Advice for underclassmen: “Take every opportunity that’s available to you and network as much as possible. Career Services has been so helpful to me over these four years, whether it was helping me format my resume or setting up a LinkedIn page. I think I’m an example of what Career Services can do; I found my position through High Point University’s career fair!”
