HIGH POINT, N.C., March 14, 2019 – A High Point University family has generously established a $1.5 million endowment to support the newly created Siegfried Leadership Fellows Program.
The endowment was established by Rob L. and Kathleen M. Siegfried of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and the Siegfried Group, LLP of Wilmington, Delaware. The Siegfried’s son, Rob, graduated in 2017, and their second son, Steven, is currently enrolled.
“We are grateful for families like the Siegfried’s who believe in equipping HPU students with a growth mindset,” says HPU President Nido Qubein. “This new endowment fund will continue HPU’s mission in preparing students for the world as it is going to be.”
“After seeing the challenging growth opportunities my children experienced at HPU, Kathy and I felt compelled to further inspire transformation with respect to leadership at the university,” says Rob Siegfried. “We want to invest in and synergize with the university to provide enhanced opportunities for leadership development and mentorship to future students—especially in the area of individual leadership—helping to instill a habit that will last a lifetime.”
