Minor in Computer Science

Requirements for a Minor in Computer Science (20 credits)

Take the following courses (8 credits):

    • CSC 1710 Introduction to Programming (4)
    • CSC 1720 Advanced Programming with Data Structures (4)

Select three CSC electives numbered 1210 or above, where at least 2 courses must be at or above the 2000 level. (12 credits)

A minor in Computing Science pairs well with most majors, and can give you a competitive advantage regardless of your desired profession. After taking CSC-1710 and CSC-1720, the CS minor is flexible enough to let you align your remaining courses in many different focus areas.
