Download the Academic Calendar into your calendar

As an added convenience, the Office of the Registrar now provides a .CSV file of the Academic calendar that can be easily transferred to your device or personal calendar.

Download the 2014-2015 Academic Calendar (select “Right Click and Save As…”) and then following the steps below (depending on your calendar client).

Outlook Instructions

If you are importing the academic calendar into Outlook, follow these steps:

First, open Outlook.
Open your calendar.
Click on “File” and then “Import and Export…”
Select the “Import from another program or file” option and click “Next.”
Select “Comma Separated Values (Windows)” and click “Next.”
Browse to the file you want to import and select the “Replace duplicates with items imported” option, and then click “Next.”
Select destination folder (Calendar should be selected) and click “Next.”
The final screen reads, “The following actions will be performed…” Click Finish to import the calendar.

The High Point University Academic Calendar will now be imported into Outlook.

Gmail Instructions

If importing into Gmail, follow these steps:

Log into Gmail and open your calendar.
Under the Other Calendars section on the left, click “Add” and select “Import Calendar.”
Select the CSV file (by clicking the Browse button)
The calendar that you wish to import events into should be selected.
Click “Import.”

The High Point University Academic Calendar will now be imported into Gmail.
