High Point University senior marketing students recently had a special visitor in their marketing management class.
Beverly Nelson, president of the Archdale Trinity Chamber of Commerce, held a marketing plan briefing for the class on Jan. 28 in Norton Hall. She encouraged the students, who are working on their senior project, by helping them develop a marketing plan. She also advised them on the services that any chamber can offer, and discussed key demographic data within the Archdale-Trinity community.
Nelson accepted an invitation by HPU to launch a speaker’s series; her visit was the first presentation in a series of visits involving the local business community with marketing students at HPU who anticipate launching businesses of their own.
