HIGH POINT, N.C., April 27, 2009 – High Point University senior accounting major Joshua Jones has recently received two accounting scholarships.
Jones was presented with a Becker Scholarship for Success award on April 22; Bill Cloninger, a representative from Becker, visited HPU to make the presentation. Jones is one of only 50 recipients of the award nationwide. His award includes a scholarship worth $2,825 to be used towards a Becker CPA Exam review course.
Jones also received a scholarship valued at more than $1,000 from the North Carolina State Board of Certified Public Accounting Examiners to cover the registration cost for the North Carolina CPA exam.
