HPU Volunteer Center Hosts Spring Carnival For Local Elementary School Students

HIGH POINT, N.C., April 24, 2009 – The High Point University Volunteer Center invited Parkview Elementary School Students to a fun-filled Spring Carnival on April 23, held in the Slane Student Center on the HPU campus. Forty HPU students volunteered at the event.
The 180 children who attended were able to enjoy a 55-foot inflatable obstacle course, an inflatable slide, games and lunch.
The annual event, which grants elementary school children a day of activities and a chance to see the HPU campus, is provided thanks to an incentives program.
