HIGH POINT, N.C., Aug. 4, 2009 – Hannah Lowell, a sophomore at High Point University, has started her career experience early as she aids her father in the decorating of the movie theater in the University Center.
Her duties as a volunteer for her father’s company, Stage Decoration and Supplies, include taking pictures of the room, writing down measurements, and using drafting skills to make sure everything is in place for the installment of curtains.
“This experience will help me in my future of designing by actually participating hands-on in networking, talking with contractors and visualizing a project in the making,” said Lowell.
Lowell plans to major in either interior design or architecture.
