High Point University has hired Dr. John Turpin as professor of interior design and dean of the School of Art and Design.Turpin, who currently serves as the chair of Interior Design as a member of the Interdisciplinary Design Institute Faculty at Washington State University, is a highly accomplished scholar and leading design educator. He will begin his new position at HPU in July.In addition to teaching, he serves as editor of Interiors: Design, Architecture, and Culture, and has an extensive record of scholarly publication.
