Jadotte Takes To The Skies With Internship At JetBlue

HIGH POINT, N.C., July 25, 2011 – James Jadotte, a rising sophomore majoring in business administration at High Point University, is setting his sights to the skies, thanks to a summer internship with JetBlue Airways in their human resources and compliance department at their corporate headquarters in Forest Hills, N.Y.

Jadotte will be studying the company’s rules and regulations and learning the roles of policies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act in the workplace. He will be conducting research for the company regarding anything that would affect their policies.

Jadotte says his courses at HPU have helped him immensely in his experience.

“My Organizational Behavior in Human Resources Management course really prepared me for this internship,” says Jadotte. “I was able to learn how to interview effectively as well as all of the laws that I deal with on a daily basis while working.”

Jadotte believes his internship this summer will be of assistance later in his career path.

“I am looking forward to learning a lot about the company and applying the knowledge that I learn here in future jobs,” Jadotte says. “This has been a wonderful experience to this point and I look forward to applying again next summer for more internship opportunities.”
