HIGH POINT, N.C., Nov. 21, 2011 – It’s the season of giving, and students, faculty and staff made sure to do just that at the second blood drive of the year at High Point University. The event collected 69 units of blood at the event, which will help a great deal of folks in need.
“We are always thankful to the HPU community who continue to support such a worthy cause,” says Maggie Sturdevant, student director of the Volunteer Center at HPU. “Each and every person can make a difference.”
Two more blood drives will be held during the academic year, as well as one blood drive during the summer.
