HPU Adds 116 New Jobs

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 26, 2012 – By August of this year, the number of employees at High Point University will have grown to approximately 1,126 with the addition of 116 new jobs. These numbers do not include the hundreds of construction workers ever present on the expanding campus. The number of employees at HPU has tripled since 2005. Plans call for 400 more jobs in the next five years.New positions include 50 faculty for undergraduate and doctoral programs, administrative staff, food service, security and athletics.
