HPU Welcomes Pomeroy as Learning Excellence Specialist

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 25, 2012 – The Office of Academic Development at High Point University recently hired Debra Pomeroy as a learning excellence specialist.

She will work with students to provide an individualized support system, which includes enhancing students’ academic abilities and achieving academic goals.

Pomeroy says she is looking forward to the opportunity to work with students who will benefit from the support and encouragement she will offer.

“It is exciting to be joining HPU at a time of significant growth,” she says. “More importantly, I am proud to be a part of an amazing program that supports success for all students.”

Pomeroy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in applied social sciences, as well as a Master of Science degree in education from State University of New York at Binghamton.
