HIGH POINT, N.C., March 9, 2012 – The Norcross Graduate School at High Point University is hosting a free Graduate Record Exam preview course presented by Kaplan Test Prep, at 2 p.m. on Mar. 17 in the Smith Library Lecture Room.
The course will teach valuable strategies and methods to raise GRE scores by an expert teacher, and will provide information on the structure and scoring of the GRE exam, strategies you can use on tough quantitative questions types and an overview of Kaplan’s GRE course and materials.
“The GRE preview class will give potential graduate students the opportunity to better understand what to expect from the GRE,” says Tracy Collum, associate dean of the Norcross Graduate School & Evening Degree Program. “Many of our graduate school programs and other graduate schools are requiring standardized testing for admissions, and many adult students may have test anxiety. The preview class will help the potential applicants feel more comfortable before taking the GRE.”
To participate in the course, please RSVP by 1 p.m. Mar. 16 by going online to highpoint.edu/graduate or by calling the Norcross Graduate School office at 336-841-9198.
