HPU Welcomes Admissions Event Coordinator

HIGH POINT, N.C., April 20, 2012 – The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at High Point University recently hired Heather Livengood as admissions events coordinator.

In her new position, Livengood will be responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, and managing all admissions events, including open houses and early registrations. She will be working directly with prospective and incoming students.

Livengood says she hopes to make an impression of what HPU has to offer to prospective students.

“It’s important to me to be a part of helping prospective students experience campus for the first time and to see the excitement they have for the university and its offerings,” says Livengood. “It’s wonderful to be working at a university where such great things are happening every day.”

Livengood earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication studies from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and a Master of Education in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina.
