HPU Welcomes Gmuca as Assistant Director of Greek Life and Resident Director

HIGH POINT, N.C., Aug. 23, 2012 – The Office of Student Life at High Point University has hired Marc Gmuca as assistant director of Greek Life and resident director.

In his new position, Gmuca will be responsible for overseeing the Greek Village, a residential housing community for Greek-affiliated students on the HPU campus. He will also be performing various administrative responsibilities for the Greek Life community, in addition to advising the Inter-fraternity Council.
 
“I am thrilled to become one of the newest members of the High Point University staff,” says Gmuca. “I am especially excited to be at an institution that strives to always provide the most extraordinary experience for all students and endless opportunities for personal growth and development.”

Gmuca says he hopes to assist students in improving the HPU community as well as the surrounding High Point community.

“I am excited to be part of such a values-driven university during this wonderful growth period because it gives the institution an opportunity to reach out and positively affect a greater number of people,” say Gmuca.
 
Gmuca, a native of Clemmons, received a Bachelor of Science in social studies education with a double minor in history and leadership studies from Appalachian State University.
