Held for the second consecutive year, the event offered Christmas lights and decorations, hot chocolate and cookies, live carolers and visits with Santa, who gave a gift to each child.
Dates for third annual Community Christmas event have already been set for Dec. 18-19, 2013.
“It was a blessing to welcome so many people to our campus for Christmas,” says Dr. Don Scarborough, vice
president for community relations. “We are High Point’s University, and while we partner with many organizations and groups in our community throughout the year, the holidays are a wonderful time for us to celebrate together.”
