Quinn will teach marketing and professional selling in the Phillips School of Business. He has previously taught professional selling, marketing and organizational behavior at Greensboro College, George Mason, and Elon where he coached winning teams in intercollegiate sales skills competitions.
“I’m honored and eager to use all my personal and business experience to nurture our students as they increase their self-confidence and their expertise in marketing and selling,” Quinn says. “The greatest impact I can have is to engage each with my enthusiasm for their personal success and for the wonderful opportunities available to them as professionals with strong selling and marketing skills”
Quinn came to academia after working in the business world as a top executive in sales and marketing. He worked as a system engineer at EDS; a sales representative, sales manager and national sales training manager at Xerox; and as vice president of sales and marketing at Thomson Professional Publishing Group, as well as Duplex Printing Corp. He has received several awards including Salesman of the Year, and Sales Manager of the Year in the Printing Systems Division at Xerox.
Quinn received a Bachelor of Arts in English and philosophy from Fordham University, and an MBA in finance from American University.
