HIGH POINT, N.C., Sept 12, 2013 – High Point University will host the 3rd annual Graduate School Preview Day from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 21 in the Greek Village Conference Center. The event will give prospective students the opportunity to see the many advanced degree programs that are available on campus.

The preview day will provide an overview of programs offered in the graduate school, including the new physician assistant program that will be offered next year. Potential students will also get a synopsis of the admissions process, campus tours, a panel discussion with program directors, and a GRE/GMAT/PCAT overview provided by Kaplan.

Faculty and staff will also be on-hand to answer questions and provide details about each program, including the benefits and rewards of earning a graduate degree through HPU.

The programs featured include the Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and masters programs in physician assistant studies, strategic communication, nonprofit management, MBA, educational leadership, elementary education and history.

“Our annual preview day was established to allow prospective students a broader picture of enrolling in High Point University’s graduate programs,” says Tracy Collum, associate dean of the Norcross Graduate School. “Prospective students have the opportunity to explore various graduate programs, talk to current students and faculty, tour the dynamic buildings their classes will be held in and learn from a complimentary GRE, GMAT or PCAT prep session. All of these functions will help prospective graduate students learn which program at High Point University will fit their career and personal goals.”
