HPU Lowers Flags in Honor of Naval Yard Tragedy

Flags halfstaff 2HIGH POINT, N.C., Sept. 17, 2013 – To honor those impacted by tragedy at the Washington Navy Yard on Sept. 16, High Point University is flying its flags at half-staff today until sunset on Friday.

While HPU is home to students from 47 states and 34 countries, the university has a historic connection to students, parents, alumni and friends from the greater Washington D.C. area. HPU’s caring staff, including professional counselors, are available to students and families for support.
