Gelber Joins Department of Communications

12.30.2013

HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 30, 2013 – The Office of Communication at High Point University recently hired Robert Gelber as producer and video editor.

Gelber is responsible for updating and creating new video content for the university.

“It is my goal to let our audience of prospective students, parents and community members know that HPU is focused on molding students into successful and significant leaders,” says Gelber. “The addition of a dedicated video producer not only helps HPU refine its message of excellence, but it can now deliver that message to a wider audience through new technologies.”

Gelber adds he will be utilizing his passion for telling stories through new media by using his strong technical background.

He received a Bachelor of Arts in music with a focus in studio production from the State University of New York at Purchase.

In addition to his work at HPU, Gelber provides creative and technical support at the Southeastern Center for Contemporary Art in Winston-Salem.
