HPU Invites Community to Greensboro Symphony Concert

HIGH POINT, N.C., Jan. 9, 2014 – High Point University will welcome audiences to a night of exhilarating musical selections as part of a concert presented by the Greensboro Symphony. The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 24 in the Pauline Theatre of the Hayworth Fine Arts Center.

Led by Dmitry Sitkovetsky, world-renowned conductor and violinist, the concert will feature Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Sibelius’ richly romantic Fifth Symphony.

The Greensboro Symphony has attracted some of North Carolina’s most talented and sought-after musicians as members of the orchestra and has drawn an impressive array of internationally acclaimed artists to the community.
