HIGH POINT, N.C., Aug. 26, 2014 – Rising High Point University senior Chanler Brock, originally from Charlotte, N.C., pursued her dreams while helping others as an intern with Silent Images this summer.
Silent Images is a nonprofit organization that provides charities with professional photography and video services that educate and inspire viewers.
As a creative assistant, Brock helped edit videos, assisted videographers on shoots, helped with social media and taught a photography camp for homeless children.
The communication major says it was the perfect fit for her.
“I wanted to work at Silent Images because they create videos as well as give back to the community and clients they work for,” says Brock. “Documentaries are something I have always had an interest in, and this gave me the opportunity to experience the process. My classes at HPU helped prepare me for this internship and gave me the knowledge I needed to be a strong and successful employee.”
