HIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 24, 2014 – Taylor Symons recently joined the Office of Student Life at High Point University as the assistant director of Greek life and resident director of the Greek Village.
As assistant director of Greek life, Symons will assist in community-wide programs and initiatives, as well as advise the Interfraternity Council at the university. He will also serve as the resident director of the Greek Village.
Originally from Kansas, Symons will draw on his experience working with student communities at Kansas State University and James Madison University. He looks forward to contributing to the high standard of student development at HPU.
“I look forward to adding to the extraordinary experience at HPU with my care and support of both Greek and non-Greek students,” Symons says. “In my position, I will connect Greek students with the life-long benefits and commitment of being members of these values-based organizations that strive to build better men and women that are actively engaged in their community.”
Symons earned his Bachelor of Arts in organizational and relational communication studies from Kansas State University, as well as a Master of Education in college student personnel administration from James Madison University.
