HPU Welcomes Modlin as Associate Vice President for Graduate Admissions

HIGH POINT, N.C., Oct. 21, 2014 – Andrew Modlin recently joined the staff at High Point University as associate vice president for graduate admissions.

In his new role, Modlin is responsible for leading the Office of Graduate Admissions, which includes HPU’s current graduate programs in Education, History, Business Administration and Strategic Communication as well as new graduate programs in Health Sciences and Pharmacy.

Modlin says he looks forward to helping undergraduate students continue their extraordinary educational experience through HPU’s graduate programs and introducing the university to new, prospective students.

“I am excited to join the High Point University family and for the opportunity to work with the university’s graduate programs,” Modlin says. “These programs will transform, grow and be a key part of the future of High Point University. I look forward to playing a role in that transformation and growth.”

Modlin comes to HPU with experience in admissions and enrollment management with Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia, the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, and the Master of Business Administration program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also has a background in marketing and consulting for the snack food industry.

Modlin earned his Bachelor of Arts in economics at the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
