HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 12, 2014 – High Point University’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority held its seventh annual Big Man on Campus event to raise money for breast cancer education and awareness. At the event, male representatives from various sports teams, clubs and Greek organizations competed for the title of Big Man On Campus.

This year, the sorority raised more than $5,000 for the cause and had more than 600 people in attendance.

“It is great being able to raise so much money for breast cancer education and awareness while having fun,” says Taylor O’Brien, member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. “It’s rewarding to see how much of an impact an event like this has.”

Joshua Caudle, a freshman from High Point, was crowned Big Man on Campus 2014. He represented the Bonner Leader Program and is a first generation scholarship recipient.

“Representing the Bonner Program and being crowned as the first freshman Big Man On Campus was such an honor,” says Caudle. “I honestly didn’t expect to win because I truly was in the competition just to represent the Bonner Program. There’s no other program that I would have wanted to represent and this win wasn’t for me, but for my Bonner Family.”
