HIGH POINT, N.C., Dec. 11, 2014 – Students at High Point University shared their research at the State of North Carolina Undergraduate Research and Creative Symposium, held Nov. 22 at North Carolina State University.
The students who presented their research were Sarah Dorrell, Curran Tayla, Katelyn Long, Sarah Patterson, Sydney Knoechel, Caitlin Ferguson and Amanda Szymanski. At the symposium, Mollie McKinley received the George Barthalmus Undergraduate Research grant.
“SNCURCS is a large interdisciplinary student conference that gives students the opportunity to learn how to present their work confidently to a broad audience,” says Joanne Altman, director of undergraduate research and creative works. “These skills will benefit the students in any future career they chose.”
High Point University will host the symposium in 2015.
