HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 6, 2015 – High Point University Security Captain Lindy Johnson was recently appointed treasurer of the American Society for Industrial Security International NC Piedmont Chapter.
ASIS International is the leading organization for security professionals, with more than 38,000 members worldwide. It is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals by developing educational programs and materials that address broad security interests. This organization leads the way for advanced and improved security performance.
Johnson, an alumna of HPU and member of ASIS for three years, is currently pursuing board certification through the group as a Physical Security Professional. This designation will prove her experience in physical security assessment, the application, design and integration of physical security systems, and implementation of physical security measures.
