HIGH POINT, N.C., Feb. 13, 2015 – Steve Harvey, TV personality, comedian and best-selling author, visited High Point University and did a local edition of “Ask Steve” where members of the audience asked Harvey questions about love and relationships. The event was hosted by WXII 12, NBC’s local affiliate.
Each weekday in his multi-topic show, Harvey talks to real people with real issues and brings his funny, fresh, insightful and common sense approach to everyday problems. On Harvey’s show he covers a vast range of relatable topics such as marriage, dating, finance, parenting, work place issues, friendship and the daily dramas we face throughout our lives, all with his unique comedic spin.
HPU freshman Joshua Caudle and other students had the opportunity to meet Harvey before the show.
“It’s really exciting to see somebody that you look up to come to your university and interact with everyone. I want to be a professional speaker, and I have a lot of aspirations to be like Steve and learn from how far he has come,” says Caudle. “My favorite episode of his talk show was when he was talking about taking the lid off of the jar and how people limit themselves because of their mentalities. I took my lid off and now I am soaring in ways that I could have never imagined.”
