HIGH POINT, N.C., March 3, 2015 – Dr. Nido Qubein, High Point University president, will be a featured speaker at the 2015 World Leaders Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, to be held March 4-5. In addition to leading HPU, Qubein also serves as a business leader on several boards, including BB&T and La-Z-Boy Corporation.
Entering its fourth year, the two-day conference will focus on the critical issues and trends that are shaping businesses today. The event provides opportunities for attendees to interact with world-renowned experts like Ken Blanchard, author of “The One Minute Manger”; Ben Carson, a history-making neurosurgeon, author and syndicated columnist; Claire Shipman, a senior national correspondent for ABC News; Drew Brees, the Super Bowl-winning quarterback of the New Orleans Saints; and more than a dozen others. It is hosted by the World Leaders Group, an organization dedicated to changing hearts and engaging minds to equip servant leaders worldwide.
All attendees of the conference, being held at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, will receive a copy of “High Point University Presents: Colin Powell.” This presentation was filmed on the HPU campus and features a Q&A between Qubein and Powell, former secretary of state, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and national security advisor.
