HIGH POINT, N.C., April 10, 2015 – The School of Pharmacy at High Point University recently hired Scot McIntosh as lab manager.
McIntosh’s key responsibility will be supporting research and the day-to-day laboratory efforts of both the chair of basic pharmaceutical sciences and the clinical science faculty. He will also be a part of developing student laboratory exercises that will allow him the opportunity to teach and train students in current biomedical and molecular biology techniques in research.
With 14 years of experience working in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and expertise in behavioral pharmacology, McIntosh is looking forward to using his expertise at HPU.
“I’m excited to be a part of the development of the School of Pharmacy at HPU,” says McIntosh. “I hope to make an impact on the success of our students and look forward to seeing what the future holds as the program continues to grow.”
McIntosh graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in biology. He is originally from Oceanside, California, but grew up in Kernersville.
